Laser cladding and surface hardening and repair
The laser remanufacturing technology includes the following aspects:
1. Laser cladding technology
It is a process method for melting the coating material at the same time with the thin layer on the surface of the matrix by laser irradiation, and then rapidly solidifying to form a coating with very low dilution and metallurgical combination with the matrix metal, so as to significantly improve the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance and oxidation resistance of the surface of the matrix material.
2. Laser hardening technology
It is a quenching process by using high density energy laser as energy to rapidly heat the workpiece and make the workpiece cooled and hardened naturally.Laser quenching is a quenching technology that uses laser to heat the surface of the material to above the phase transition point, and with the cooling of the material itself,the austenite is transformed into martensite, so as to harden the surface of the material. It includes laser phase change quenching and laser melting quenching.
3. Laser surface alloying technology
It is a method for using the laser beam to heat the metal surface, and adding some alloying elements, so as to change the chemical composition, structure and properties of the metal surface layer,and this is called laser surface alloying. The rapid heating and melting characteristics of high energy density laser beam are used for making the surface layer of the substrate and the added alloying elements melt and mixed,so as to change the chemical composition, structure and properties of the metal surface layer,and form a new surface alloy layer based on the original substrate.
